I wired mine with a relay and an energizing switch by the ashtray and put a momentary switch in the shifter
It's like the one pictured above Black ball with White lettering and White Ford Logo - 6 speed pattern with Reverse on the upper right.
They also have an option to add the momentary switch so chose that as well

As suggested, use the existing switch to turn the circuit off when your not using the LL. When your at the track (or quiet road in Mexico), turn the switch on to activate the system, trigger via the shifter mounted button.
Looking forward to it Rick, I'll follow your advise for sure like the idea of being able to turn off while not in track mode

Pretty trick setup using the coin holder delete. If you need a hand installing it, swing by the beach. The know is good, you could still use the fog light switch to turn the circuit on
