Damn I was thinking of going 2-2.5 gallons, 7 gallons, holy shit!

A turbo: Exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Weight lost is great. But the car becomes a tin can.
So my old 89 black coupe. 2780lbs on a MTO scale in caledon hills. Glass hood, tfs heads, electric fan, tubular front end, welds,
aluminium ds, rci seats, carpet insulation out, all of the black tar on floors removed, battery in trunk, armrest delete, light steering wheel, all engine brackets were lightened, pulleys, I'm sure im missing stuff to. Best pass on the motor 12.01@115mph.

looking for ideas and specifics on losing weight on a Foxbody. Appreciate the tin can comment - there must be other reductions/replacements someone has done like tubular swaybar; lighter brakes, etc etc.
    All relevant comments welcome, thx

"Adding Lightness" is what Colin Chapman said; Audi and McLaren currently use this as their mantra....rotating mass is even more important.

Going to make the lighter 9"/10 " wide Enkei RPF01 wheels (16/17 lbs respectively, vs 25/26 currently) a greater priority for a 36 lb rotating mass savings.

You can save about 5lbs per corner if you pony up the dough for some 2 piece rotors with aluminum centers..
