    Need opinions, broken lifter retainer

Cylinder 5. Found it right away after pulling my intake. Car still idled and ran well, just noisy. Cam looks good (b cam anyways, no loss if it's wiped). I have a set of new lifters that were waiting to go in before the failure. Pushrods are fine as well as rockers. Opinions? I should add I have another longblock to play with, it just doesn't have all the goodies my engine has.

The cam IS alot harder than the lifter and it's parts, isn't it?

I see I neglected to mention the "dog bone" has a broken tab, so it needs to go too. Here's a picture.

I found the broken piece, it was laying in the lifter valley thankfully. Gonna install the new lifters and see what happens, I have a stock HO cam if the B cam is ruined.

I'd be slappin' that in there anyways. Gain some power + driveability back.
