    10-12 oem decklid removal

Has anyone on the board removed the OEM decklid from ford on a 10-12 mustang?

I will post a pic when I get home, just wondering how to do it with minimal damage to paint

10-12 doesn't come OEM with a deck lid panel or are you referring to the entire deck lid itself?

You can do dental floss or as you said a fishing line but go with the lightest weight line. You can also go with a heatgun and remove it as well. Are you planning on keeping the panel?

    This should do the job...

In all seriousness, try to get some goo gone in there. Any small scratches the fishing line puts in the paint can be easily buffed out.
