Yeah, it's definitely over priced.....
agree that price is a little off! . I remember back in the day my Dad had a 1980 4 cylinder Stang--- man thing was gutless!
posted this Ad in the whats on your mind thread with a So much want but Not paying that price for a 4 cyl! THAT IS the kinda car im looking for but not at that fucking price!
Dave........You only want a shell and that shell is said to be clean so what is a shell worth if it was new metal punched from China like the Camaro bodies are. Even the old trucks have new punched metal from across the water. With this car you get the glass and other parts you could salvage for what you want to build.
I think for you Dave this is a deal when you break it down clean part for clean part to get you started. What you want to build is going to have you spending close or more than 25,000 so get started with spending 5 for a good body.
JUST SAYING
I would pay 3-4k for it myself.....but that's just me. I don't mind paying for something that is clean (if it actually is)
+1 on the two above. Way cheaper to pay for a really nice shell up front vs piecing together a half rotten one.
Doesn't underground parking tap the moisture?
I remember a year or two ago a guy was selling a 4cyl black one at cayuga (prob new paint as it was really clean)
for $18,000 wan an 18 second pass as well
NO fucking way they are out there patience is wher its at my last one was a 1981 coupe 100,000 original km and oil sprayed since day 1 and was MINT I payed $500. this one is no better but $4500 more! Maybe I got a scream of a deal the first time but more are out there just got to wait!
