Like I said earlier in this thread. I always wanted a Vrod.
While bike shopping a year ago I test rode a 2009 Vrod. Very nice bike but I didn't get the impression it would be a keeper.
Now I spent last summer bouncing back between dads two bikes.
2006 ultra classic and a full custom soft tail chopper

I soon learned that I was more impressed with comfort when it comes to bikes.
Here is what I ended up on for the summer over the vrod that I originally went shopping for.
And no regrets at all. I have left the house at 9:00am just to get lunch in calaboggie and then ride home for 6:00pm logging 700km in one day.

If I had the coin this would be in my garage for next summer

Or maybe in red but it needs the tour pack

If there is one thing HD knows its paint.
This is the 2017 road. Optional paint on a standard bike. Not even a CVO bike.

There's no pretty way of building a bike around a V12.
I can think of sooooo many more better projects for that engine.

I don't think the bike was finished in that video but the finished product is just as ugly...

While I can appreciate the engineering it must have taken to pull it off, just feel there are a whole bunch of hoods it make more sense under.

That is one sexy looking engine tho.

LOL, how long do you suppose that engine runs on that tank of fuel?
