Matt, my offer still stands for you to whip it around the track so I can hear it lol.

I feel like I need to clarify something. I'm not looking to get an R Comp tire.

I'm in need of anything better than the factory hockey pucks Ford put on this thing that's all.

I've got my eye on Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They have excellent reviews for my car and even the GT500.

My right rear tire is also running a plug and patch. So... Yeah. I'm due for some new rubber.

R Comp tires are last on my build list because frankly, I won't use them enough to justify the cost. After new street rubber comes suspension.

I am planning to go depends on where I am in my resto/rehabilitation. I will either be there with some new tires on larger wheels with new brakes
Or I will run with what ever it has on it currently....old street tires 15" rims and drums....could give a good baseline for BEFORE any mods
I wont set any records but I do know it will be one hell of a lot of fun

ok, running a plug and patch is not good. but my point is that you can still learn, and have fun, on hockey pucks.

R comp or not, you just need tires with no excuses built into them.......

No issue running a properly repaired tire, period.
