Okay I'm all in but first a little history.

Lost my Dad when he was 56 to a heart attack. I was 17
Lost my Mom when she was 60 to a heart attack. I was 22
Lost my brother when he was 49 to a heart attack. I was 37

So in 2007 I was 41 and tipped the scale at 340 at a pint sized 6'4"
Decided it was time for change. I lost 85 lbs and was approaching my goal of 235 when I slipped. Not a lot at first, just a little here and there but it added up and here I am 7 years later at 330. I'm one year younger than my brother was when he signed off.

This thread is very timely because last Friday I promised myself, my wife and my 2 daughters I would reach a healthy weight and stay there!

Funny place to find this kind of support but I'll take it.
    Thanks TMC

I'm tipping the scales at 278 at 6', which is sad considering I used to be down to 160 pounds at one point.

I'm in for this as well. I need to lose 20 pounds. I have been nervous to work out since I hurt my back last year but now I think it's an excuse. I just need to get back into it slowly. I used to love working out. I know one thing that will be hard for a lot of us in the summer is cutting out beer but is has to be done(with a couple here and there)! 2 years ago I got up to my current weight and then stopped drinking beer and eating chips during the week and cut back on the weekends. I lost 15 pounds in under 2 months. I need to follow my own rules again!!!

Make sure to fall off the wagon for one meal a week, yea like a reward.
For me, one week it'll be wing ding night. Maybe still have a Dr Pepper but only one vs the 1/2 dozen I love to slosh on down.
Odd Sunday, a bowl of buttery popcorn while I watch the Nascar Race.
Prior to this flipping clot nonsense, had dropped some serious wt.
    No more excuses.

I'm in and already started as of Monday have lost alot of family and some friends to heart issues and cancer. So for me it's all in.
My starting weight is 259 I am only 5"8 my goal is 200 by the end of the summer.
I'm on a program I picked up from my boss at work he has lost 20 pounds so far so I'm trying it for 1 month and see where it gets me. It's called vemma did alot of googling about it seem like all around good reviews and for the most part all natural.
Wishing everybody good luck and here comes the short shorts lol.

    100%.

Look at it this way: If you eat at McDonalds 6 days a week, then eat nothing but salads and veggies at home on the 7th day.....you're gonna get fat.

So the opposite is also true.
