Thanks guys, a lot of hard work and eating to get to where I am. Also, earlier today I kinda beat my circus dumbbell PR. I got 140lbs with my left and my right. Unlike the above video of failing with my right. Felt good too, I see a 160lb dumbbell happening this year for sure.

Now, let's keep you guys on track with your goals. You're welcome to ask me any questions if you have any, I will try to answer to the best of my ability. In the meantime, here is a great inspirational video...

Couple of PR's set in the last couple of days. Played around with the circus dumbbell and I managed 140lbs with each hand. Felt real good and I foresee a 160lb dbell this year. Did some atlas stones last night, set a new PR with a 350lb stone over 44" bar. Should be a good year for training. I'm still siting around the 220lb mark for bodyweight.

Just did a weigh in today. Looks like I lost 11 pounds so far. Everyday I'm losing bit by bit. Pull ups are easier to do and left knee isn't hurting as much.

That's a beautiful story Chill5.0. It's important not to give up on yourself, but it is just as important not to give up on others! I've found that it's the people I least expect, that always surprise me the most!

Does anybody here have issues digesting whey protein? What alternative are you using?

Make sure its lactose free if you have any intolerances as that might cause bloating and digestive issues. Make sure you drink plenty of water in conjunction.

You can always try soy protein as an alternative. And it is always important to select protein with the least amount of crap in them. When selecting flavours, vanilla or chocolate are the best choices unless you can get a flavourless one.

The best alternative is to not use protein supplements and eat real food when you can.

Well, bow flex just arrived today. I now have a bowflex, treadmill and heavy bag. There's no more excuses. Time to stop being fat. Gonna hit up Herc's tomorrow for some supplements and information.

Currently sitting at a depressing flabby 260lbs. The heaviest I've ever been.

Look forward to building the new me tomorrow. Right after I assemble the bowflex lol

Started doing chin ups at home. Arms are getting bigger, and losing weight. I feel pretty good!
