WHIPPLE INTERCOOLED SUPERCHARGER KIT INPUT ( 05 GT )

    Hey everyone,

So I am starting my search for the supercharger upgrade I long been waiting for.

    I come across this;
    http://www.americanmuscle.com/whippl...gt-manual.html

Someone has a used kit with both coolant crossover pipe and is asking 3600 from the US. ( approx 4500 after shipping and USD to CAN conversion )

Would this be a good kit to get?
Car is an 05 gt, pretty much stock except for a beefed up full suspension. Engine has 164k on it, well maintained.

    Let me know y'all input.

I need a little bit of knowledge of doing a supercharger upgrade. It be more than grateful for a little input on this.

    Thank you.

    ^Lol, ya pretty much.
Just make sure the kit is complete with everything needed for the install, if you need to buy new parts to get it installed it will get expensive.

I did a ton of research last year on boost options. I think the Whipple kit has the best overall fit and finish. Blackmare's car is a great example of a Whipple done right.

If you're feeling adventurous, have a read through my Department of Boost build thread for something a little different.

DOB offers a full kit for $4200 US or you can piece it together as I have.

Well, thank you everyone for your input.

My hopes of getting superchargered this summer have been shattered.

Our company just got bought over, and all the head managers have quit or fired.. Doesn't look like I will be looking for a S/c anymore more likely for a new job if things begin to go south.

Hopefully, new ownership will take the company to new heights.

    All the best.
