    Replacement steering wheel...

Hey all i have seen some pics of a few older mustangs now with newer car steering wheels in them. Did ford produce any nice steering wheels through the 90's early 2000's that would fit in a mustang? I need the light grey colored one, but prefer something a little bit more comfortable then what came in my 96.

Really like the FR500 wheel I'm using. No longer in production though, odd one pops up on ebay, one on Kijiji recently that might still be around.

most of them are in charcoal, i need one that is light gray to match the interior....they are like unicorns though. I'd even settle for an 03 Cobra wheel.

I had the fr500 in my 95 with saddle interior. To be honest the black/charcoal looked right at home. Loved it. Too bad they're not made anymore.

Maybe just have your stock wheel redone with premium leather and a little padding.

There's these guys too. Never used them myself but I've seen decent reviews.

This guy is said to be the guru of wrapping steering wheels. Not sure if he does Mustangs (real popular in Corvette circles) but worth asking. It would appear he and his wife to work for several vendors offering steering wheel rewrapping.

I've been thinking about doing mine too. It's still in good shape but I'd like a little more padding and a premium leather.
