I put a 13 gt500 wheel in mine as the first mod to the car, made it feel like I was driving a different vehicle.

me too. if it retains an airbag. as much as I would love to have a custom race wheel, I do not want to risk something that would void insurance. I still drive on the street too much.

They would take your stock one and recover in leather Matt so yes air bag is retained.

So a few options to consider

    1) Do you want your steering wheel modified? ie. Extra padding, thumb grips, different material, centering stripe.....

    2) Keep it original looking just redone in fine leather?

    3) Do you want to install the new cover yourself or have someone else do it?

All these questions will determine who we go with for the final quote.

Brian; If find a particular wheel you like at a good price, just dye it the right colour with SEM vinyl/leather dye. Worst case is that you will need to do it again in a few yrs. Proper Prep and many coats is the key. Cost ya under $50 for all the materials.
