Too many rot boxes being passed up as "mint"... I spent close to 2yrs on and off looking for a truly "mint" original 86GT, with no such luck at a realistic $$$ figure.

Black is th worst colour on these cars...especially when they go right over the trim in the same gloss black. Makes me feel like people are too lazy to mask things off

Yup, seen more than one paint job ruin an otherwise very nice car.

Appraised value, asking price, and actual sale price (if they ever do sell) are almost always a very big spread ... of those ones, I think I would take the 86 rag with original paint for $8ish, just lose the white wheels.

    cheers

i have been following fox saleens as well. Mint versions are really starting to creep up, hell Saleen parts are crazy priced 2k+ for sterns, intakes for over 1k etc...and they are selling. A mint fox will hold value, a real Cobra/saleen or other rarer car even more so. They are getting old.

There all on crack and only a fool with money would pay those prices for a hatch! Notches are harder to find so I could see them being priced higher but for a hatch dime a dozen.
