    Already have the studs on the motor coming out. Heads are double sprung as well, when I bought the motor I installed already it was mainly for the heads and intake stuff, the shortblock was not guaranteed. Now that I have a good bottom end and after a compression test it's time to pull the motor with the good stuff out and transfer it all over to the good shortblock.

    The oil in the bad shortblock got black and is washed with gasoline, and that's with only about 500 on the last oil change.

    Get rid of the crappy factory dampener.....so many issues with them and rubber falling apart. Best couple hundred you can spend.
    Agree with Rick keep factory oil pump.
    LT are the best...period.
