    diagnosing wheel bearing ?

How would you diagnose a rear wheel bearing compared to the front ? Car has a pretty loud humming that is constant but disappears when turning the wheel to the left . Doesn't take much turning the of the wheel to get the humming to go away.

Rear bearings don't really change tone on a SRA RWD car any change would be minimal. Rears are easy to check though, Jack the wheel and check for play, usually leaking oil too. It's most likely a right front bearing.

I have had three ford Taurus over the years and have had to replace half a dozen front wheel
    bearings over those 800000km.
I always diagnosed which front bearing buy the bad bearing gets quite when loaded up.
if I made hard left turn and it got quieter then it was right bearing that was gone. If made hard
right turn and got quite then it was left bearing. ...but this is just what i have noticed in past
