    depends on the car/tint, you can't see Matt's for shit in the day time...and noticeable difference at night too when I'm following him

    Personally I don't think he should either, I like the contrast with the dark frames and lighter lenses
    If you do decide to I can recommend a specific film or even place to do it.
    I did it to my sebrings tailights, its a car light specific film made by 3m I think, it applies like window tint but is thicker and almost a rubbery when heated for install, the darkness changes by how light hits it and it has very little effect on light output, safety is my main concern when driving and no matter how dark how foggy you can see the light from these as bright as any other car.
