    Cobra rear brake question

had rear axle built , I installed the cobra rear brake caliper brackets so I could use my
    Cobra brakes

Put the rotor onto the axle and then put the rear bracket around the rotor and attached it
To the caliper mount. I put a couple lug nuts on to keep the rotor flat on the axle.

The rotor literally has no space towards the outside
Of the bracket . It doesn't touch as it spins but you couldn't put a piece of paper between it. Are there spacers that Iam missing between the caliper bracket and caliper mount? I thought of putting a washer in there to center the rotor in the caliper bracket.

    Both sides are the same

Any help would be great unless this is normal .

Car is a 95 Mustsng GT with cobra brake upgrade

That often happens with aftermarket axles, two washers per side between the bracket and and mount will cure it.

Ok cool , I went out to the garage and tried a couple washers and it worked perfect but didn't wanna continue if there was a safety issue or something that I was overlooking

No worries, I've done it before and it works perfect, just be sure the washers are the same thickness and you'll be fine.
