    I would say they broke it themselves more than it gave up the ghost. They admitted they were doing something stupid. I wish the 351 was a simple drop and swap.

    A 351 swap is very straight forward, parts are readily available.

    I realize that, but then I can't use my $500 headers and I would have to buy parts. I remember the good ole days when a 350 was a direct drop and swap for a 305, all you needed was a new oil filter, lol.

    Nice article.
    I remember when quite a number of guys were making 800+ whp with stock 351W shorts and turbo setups back in the turbomustang forums days. So this MM&FF article comes as no surprise, to me.
