Fox outer dew wipe warning!

Hey guys, as most Fox owners know, the outer dew wipes on our cars tend to bubble from rusting of the inner metal support strip. Mine have been bubbled for years, I thought no big deal as it's just the rubber, i'll fix it later. Went to put new ones on yesterday and found the rust from the rubber strips and spread to the very top edges of both my doors with are otherwise mint.
Now I have some minor rust repair to do.

If you have bubbling dew wipes pull them off and have a look sooner than later! The rubbers are held on my small rivets.

yes true I just changed all of my weather stripping.

I would love to tear down my car completey and fix every tiny little rust spot I find followed by some fresh paint.. ah one day. Thanks for the heads up.. mine were suprisingly ok last time I checked.

I got some Rust Check rust killer and some tremclad paint to fix things up. I'll be using silicone to help keep the mouldings in place after as well as keep out the moisture.
