    Dashboard Noise

I seem to have a new noise in the 06. Difficult to describe but I'd call it a scratching or rubbing sound from the dash area. It's most noticeable at cruising speeds. Ideas?

Does it change with the heater control position?
See some are complaining of blend door noises but not in all functions.

    Chipmunk?

Some cayenne pepper should fix that.

I'll check that. I'm thinking maybe one of the stepper motors is on it's way out.

I found out the pedal on the right makes the noise go away if you use it properly

If standard trans try a leather conditioner on the shift boot. Drove me nuts for months before I figured it out. It sounded almost line a scratching buzzing noise.
