Just don't buy their fucking garbage. Simple as that. I can hardly wait until March 23, 2018, because this shit will no longer be an issue. That's the day my license expires, and frankly with the advent of self driving cars, more and more geriatrics who's freshness date has long since passed, and the general attitude towards people who actually care about cars I'll be glad to give it up for a bicycle and a bus pass.

In the interest of full disclosure, I'd give up driving now; however, my current job involves a lot of driving.

I dunno, been called crusty on a couple of occasions this week, may be true but one things for sure, no matter which co decides not to participate in this nonsense, they'll be selling me my next ride.

I think SEMA and their lobby groups will have a thing or three to say about this.

I think the OEMs are in a position of "Fuck You" when it comes to SEMA and the consumer. I could be completely wrong though.

I guess we'll all have to buy pre 1996 cars. No obdII port for the soon to be mandatory insurance tracking devices and no self driving and can be modded.
