This was awesome thanks for tip. I ran the check and the sweep was fine. Then ran through the other options. It then read OIL 255 So I'm assuming the sensor is toast???

I also ran the test with the engine running and the number was still 255.

Probably sender is toast. Assuming you already looked to make sure the connection is tight and clean.
