2.3 shares a similar engine mount location as the 5.0? I'm looking at some 2.3 rangers and wouldnt mind a stock MAF 5.0 swap with AOD or C4 for a reliable and fun daily. Or turbo the 2.3 since there's lots of support for these 4 bangers. I guess worst part of a v8 swap is the custom exhaust? Never did a ranger before, just fox bodies and a v6 sn95...
