    Sn95 cockpit temps

Been awhile since I drove a sn95 with factory mid pipe . Is it possible that the cats are heating the floor and trans tunnel? My ashtray is almost untouchable cause it's so hot .

Just replaced the fluid in the tranny so it's not that .

    Any suggestions ?

    First place to start.
Using dynmat / brownbread etc also cuts down on heat transfer n noise.........money well spend.

Might just swap out the mid pipe for the one off my vert, sounds better and doesn't hold the heat like the stocker .

I really don't think it matters what mid pipe you have, it will always get warm. I've had the stocker, off road, and now catted x, and the temps have always gotten hot inside the car. Same goes with my old fox I use to have. I like Rick's idea, and is on my list for next season.

I was getting some heat coming up from the tunnel as well, but under the rear seat. I added some heat tape to the tunnel and under the seat and problem solved.
