I pulled fuse with 2 amp load on
Plugged fue back in after many hours, amp draw was there right away
If I leave it connected for 45+ min, should expect amp draw to fall off?

I'd substitute your amp meter for the fuse, wait the time out period and monitor to see what it shows.
What does the fuse feed?
You can't use a battery powered voltmeter, it will keep the system awake on the car. You need to use an inductive pickup. If you want to rule out the battery, disconnect it, wait a couple days and reconnect it, see if the car starts.
Amp meter in place of the fuse would accomplish the same thing.
Great idea on just disconnect the batt for a few days n see how it fairs.
Took battery to CTC, they tested it several times
Walked out with a new one
Got the impression it is pretty typical
3 yrs is crazy short
Going to install tomorrow, just charging now
Will kewpie you posted
Not at all uncommon these days, yes no matter the brand.
Hope the fix was just that easy.
