    2000 Mustang - Can't dim interior lights

I've scoured the internet and only found people having no illumination of the dash lights. My issue is completely different.

My lights are fully illuminated I just can't dim the lights anymore. The last thing I remember doing was removing the climate control unit so that I can put LED lights in it. I also had to remove the radio and middle bezel. I also pulled out the rear defroster switch to modify it with new leds

Since I'm anal about things it really bothers the crap out of me and I would like to have control over the dimming of the interior lights. Any advise?

I don't think you can dim LED lights.

Actually you can dim LED's provided they have a resistor and a diode. The ones I have are equiped with both. I think the issue is the ford dimmer can't handle such low draw from all these leds so it's making the system go out of wack. Tomorrow Ill tear through the mustang and figure out if its actually the leds causing the issue.

Not enough resistance to work properly.
