    Airbag sensors

Just curious if the sensors in all 94-98 work with other years or if 95 is only specific to 95?

The left air bag sensor on my SN is extremely rusted out and causing an airbag light. I'd like to replace it but Ford no longer carries them.

Looks like 94 only used a specific sensor, then 95-98 were the same. Obsolete from Ford now as you have discovered, part number was F5ZZ 14B004 A to help your search. ID number on an original one would be F5ZB 14B004 AA - left and right use the same sensors.

    Figures

Who needs air bags anyway. My light has been on since I purchased the car.

Anyone know how far down/where exactly this air bag module wiring goes down into? Don't want to start pulling stuff out in the cold I don't have to

I have both sensors and the airbag module off my '95 if that's what ur looking for. The air bag module is under the dash in front of the center console.

The images I've pulled up of this impact sensor located up front above the front bumper show the wiring harness probably 10" long or so? I can't see that running into the car.

Curious if anyone knows what needs to be removed to gain access to the impact sensor connector for removal. I don't want to be outside in -20 removing parts I don't have to is all. Lol thanks guys.
