    What's It Worth Thread

I searched and couldn't find a thread .....so, what's it worth?

My old coupe: 1990 Mustang LX 5.0

    The bad:
body is decent (7:10?), but subframes were rotted and repaired.
car was in a t-bone (rear) accident, and repaired.
    high mileage.

    The good:
    it's a notch.

*most recent pic a year ago.

I put this bug in my father's ear that he should buy the '86 Mustang I have for sale. But he would have to get rid of my old '90 first (despite have acres of property, mother won't let him have more than one toy). He might have a local buyer, but he doesn't know what kind of price he should ask for.

^^^that's a good pic. I didn't want to get an "inflated" price in a feeler thread.
Obviously, in a for sale thread, I would try and cast it in the best possible light

Is it real rusty or just mildly rusty? Guessing anywhere from 3500 to 5500.

    body I would call fair.
front subframe (at k-member) was gone, literally, and reinforced with 3/8" plate.
rear subframe (at trunk) was gone, and reinforced with channel iron.

All the structural damage (rot) was repaired and reinforced.
It's never going to be a show car, I wouldn't even consider dumping much money in it as a project.
But it looks decent and drives well. It would make for a fun beater.

2500-3000 I'd guess by sounds of it.

    Not branded.
    Accident occurred prior to 2003.

But it is a "rebuilt". It was written off by the insurance company, I purchased the salvage, had it repaired, and inspected.

That's basically branded, lol. I'd agree with the others, somewhere around $3k.

I sold one very similar, but the rails in front were soft, not repaired, had no accident damage, and 220k or so with some bolt-ons and roh wheels, I got $3k I think, that was 3 years ago probably.
