    Electric Fan Wont Turn On

My fan doesn't seem to turn on anymore on my 97 Cobra. Ive checked the main connector as those seem to melt and its in perfect shape. The fuse is also good. I can even spin the fan by hand. Any ideas Ive read that the CCRM can sometimes go anyway of checking that

    Stock or aftermarket replacement fan?
Did you try running power and ground to the fan itself to test?
Does it come on with AC engaged?

If not, disconnect connector at the fan itself, run a decent size ground / power wire and test. Seeing a good number of early modular engine fans give up the ghost. If it has, do not be tempted buy an aftermarket, go OEM Ford only. Of the half dozen or so we've tried, every single one has failed within a short time.
Fast Ed could even mail order one to you.

Hey Rick, so my fan turns on when I run the AC. What does that mean, and thanks.

Means fan is ok for sure.
Sure you ran it long enough for the ECM to turn it on?

I had it on until the temp gauge was at the "A" in Normal.
