Any mustangs in the CSCS Time Attack series?

I've been looking at the www.cscs.ca Time Attack "Street" and "Super Street" classes. My old fox would definitely pass in reg. street... and I think it could be fun, as I really wanna get into some amateur racing with my car. However, all I see are Miata's, S2000's, BMW's... will my old fox be like able to keep up? I know this i geared more towards imports, is there another racing group I'd be better off taking a look at that's more suited for an old fox mustang?

Any info, insight or links to the like is appreciated..!

Probably because it's Canadian Sport Compact Series, and Mustangs are not allowed in "Street" class. You would have to be in "Super Street".

    Street
    Make-----Models Allowed-------------Models Not Allowed
    Ford------------All-------------------Cobra, Mustang Cobra, Ford GT

    Super Street
    Make-----Models Allowed-------------------Models Not Allowed
    Ford------Cobra, Mustang Cobra, Ford GT
Unless I'm reading that wrong and a Mustang GT is okay?

There used to be a guy here (or on the other site), I think he was from Ottawa? He used to do pretty well with his GT in auto-X

edit: dbovine is who I was thinking of.

Ontario Time Attack has a much better classing system if you'd like to be competitive without having to build your car to a rulebook. There used to be quite a few Mustangs in the series, but I think they've tapered off a bit.

If you have any questions, I used to be quite involved so may be able to help you out - if not, I'm sure I can refer you to someone that can. The CASC-OR forum can be helpful too.
