    No secret I'm a Jr / Hendrick fan but it's also good when it's not the same car or three contending for the win each week.

    Absolutely. For a sport built on parity it is good to finally see some other cars in the mix.

    But much of that last week had to do with the unknown track surface. Did you watch practice? For the first hour the top times were all set by new guys. Some of the veterans still hadn't taken their balls out of their wives purses yet while these kids (who had little past Texas experience to go back on) were tearing it up. It really leveled the field for a while. But once that second groove opened up late in the race it settled back to normal with the usual cars charging forward. They should repave every week!!! lol

    I suspect for at least some of the newer blood, able to make the car do seemingly impossible things because they have no idea it's incapable.
    Fun watching the Wood Bros entry have so much success. Think of them as a cornerstone of Nascar.
