Got 255/40-19s factory OEM tires on my 13 GT. Would 245/50R19 fit?
I use this site often...https://tiresize.com/calculator/ The newer tire diameter would be approx. 1.6 inches more.

replied to in chat box ^^ these are factory 245/45- before lowering if not lowered than I think u have room with 245/50's

Going taller and narrower doesn't make any sense.....unless its for snow tires and you have plenty of inner fender /turning radius clearance and want to increase ground clearance.
Tires need to be mounted on wheels that are 1) ideal width or 2) within the acceptable range of rim width limits the manufacturer specifies
Different brands of tires use different carcasses and sizes, so not all tires are the same dimensions or have the same wheel requirements between brands and even models/types.
I use this Tirerack for most tire / sizing research. Start with the OEM fitment and their recommendations; sometimes tires are specific to a particular vehicle.
