need e test info help please

Picking up a 2002 mustang on Friday that I traded my motorcycle for. The car has no cats so I'm sure it won't pass e test . The car was tuned by D,Souza I want to get a conditional pass for now until I can fix the emission problem . Does anyone know how i do that I'm new to this and really want this car. Thanks for any help.

I believe if you are doing it to change ownership they won't take a conditional pass. It has to pass on it's own. The only time a conditional will work is if you already own the car.

Transfer of ownership requires a clean pass

Unless it was done within a year of its last test

    Click on search history

    http://www.ontario.ca/environment-an...gy/drive-clean

enter vin to see last time it was tested

^Yes but as stated above if it has been done in the last year it will not need one. Otherwise yes, you cannot use a conditional to change ownership, needs to be a full pass, needs to have cats.
