Poor past experiences prompted me to do my own this year, over the year I've been saving new oil/trans fluid in a washer fluid jug, so did my Wrangler and my CR-V. My wife got a new Cherokee a couple weeks ago, it's well coated with a rockerguard-like coating from the factory underneath, but gonna give it a quick coat of oil in the summer.
Could be but I don't think so, most trannies are aluminum with many steel components, coolers use rubber hoses as do most of the seals. I know guys who have been using it for years without an issue.
