    Cleaning aluminum parts?

What have people used to clean greasy, slightly oxidized aluminum parts so they look new again?

Least aggressive to most aggressive options ?

I want the parts to turn out to be like new factory look

Sadly a hot tank is likely the only way to accomplish this.
But you could try oven cleaner first, terrible stuff though, be careful.

Boil water and vinegar ( 2 tablespoon of vinegar for every quart of water) in a pot and drop the part in a let it boil for 15-20 min. Repeat if necessary until you are satisfied.
