I mean there is good and bad people on both side. Don’t get me wrong. But it’s fairly well documented that people on the right donate more per income than those on the left (based on US numbers)

I have not heard of a single “left” group actually paying for refugees (other than the government) but many many church groups funded and supported refugees.

The biggest problem is they say a white nationalist is right wing so every conservative is “far right” with the only purpose of that label to defame than and label them as something they are not (we have seen that on this very forum many times)

It’s like saying a nazi eats at McDonald’s and McDonald’s didn’t throw them out. There for not only is McDonald’s a nazi. But anyone else who eats there is a nazi as well.

So people who go to church are by definition "conservative" and not "left"? Does that potentially "label them as something they are not"?

There's a difference between simple avoidance and trying to create humor despite sheer unbridled exhaustion resulting from having misinformation rammed directly down your throat repeatedly in a venue that's supposed to be a lighthearted break from the daily grind.

There's also a difference between civil discussion and regurgitating facts from a 3rd party source and using that in place of a formed argument but as a deconstruction means to paint all those who even slightly oppose it as flat out wrong.

TLDR is I know I'll never convince you of my views and nor will you convince I of yours .

I Never said that EVERYONE who goes to church is conservative. Though that’s a common theme pushed by the left.

I would say that a lot of people who are traditional in their religion hold more conservative values.
