Shoot me a pm so we don't totally mess up his thread.
Coyote swap isn't for everyone....unless you plan on doing the swap yourself you gonna drop big!!!
Most people will bail fast and today it is a lot easier to do than when I did my Modfox swap back in the day....they have everything you need today for the swap, but like I said it's not cheap and having someone else do it will cost double!
Other options 03-04 cobra motor drop in can be found reasonable and you still can use the GT PCM and harness to run the motor with little modification...
Good luck either way you go!
2003 Azure Mach 1.....with some bolt on's.....
2003 Marauder.....with some bolt on's....
2011 GT500......with some bolt on's.......
82 GT, Coyote, build in play.......
There is a company in the states that does all this for you. They specialize in buying wrecked mustangs and F150s and they grab motor and trans. But from what I seen they charge about 15k USD

I’m not slow, I just like the way your bumper looks
Coyote swap isn't that bad
You don't need the control pack as the copperhead ecu is easily modified to a control pack setup with stock engine harness.
K member for swap
Trans selection
Etc
It really isn't too bad.
On a new edge, I believe you can use stock K member, and whatever tranny is in the car, AC system, Powersteering (hydroboost)and motor mounts. I also believe you can reuse your flywheel and clutch. Having all that in a New Edge cuts cost significantly. You can get an F150 Motor for about 3k. And can buy the GT cams new from Ford through Ed for a pretty good price. Id' say on a new edge you're looking at less than 10k if you do most of the swap yourself. Maybe even less than that...definitely an avenue to explore.
$$ add up big time.
engine - $5000 approx. either f150 motor + cams or mustang engine
exhaust - $1500 headers and catted H pipe
control pack - $2000
power by the hour kit to installed accessories - $1000
K member plus coil overs - $1000 at least
IMRC delete - $ not much or the new MM motor mounts which move engine ahead to allow room for IMRC
that's all assuming your transmission, clutch and motor mounts are good
cold air intake - $? custom or make one
plus all the other little stuff that will nickle and dime you to death
It can be done. its easier now that its more common to do. just not cheap. but it would be awesome
this stuff is just off the top of my head, don't hold me to it

Stock engine Fox equipped with the Maximum Motorsports catalog. Now I have lots of Trick Flow stickers.
F150 engines are pretty common to find around 3k. Mustang intake cams can be bought new for about $150 each I believe.
On a new Edge, it can be done with stock K member and mounts but I am told exhaust is a tight fit.
You're right on the rest of it.
On a Fox it's much more expensive and involved.
I have had a few different engine setups in my new edge (including a supercharger on the stock engine), and the current coyote swap in it is definitely my favourite, 400+ rwhp combined with 7500+ rpm in a new edge is a riot. I can even say that I enjoy it more than the whipple topped cobra motor I had in it.
The swap is easy overall, but as others have mentioned, it can get pricey quick, especially if you are paying someone to do the labour. If you are somewhat mechanically inclined, then you shouldn't have a problem doing the swap out of a home garage.
Too bad you are wanting to keep your current car, I plan on selling my coyote swapped new edge come spring, with having 3 kids, I just don't get to drive it enough anymore.

Good stuff man!
I know the feeling not driving it much. I also have a young family & mine sat almost 6 years.
I figure for the few time I do get to take it out, it might aswell keep me excited, cuz 255 hp @ the wheels isn't doing it! Love my car but been plateau'd with the power for a long time!
Had mine since new, so I have NO interest in selling it. Will keep my eye out for yours when you're planning on moving on with it.
