I know this is a Ford site, but anybody know if there is a demand for old industrial Chevy engines?
Father has an old 327 out of a combine taking up space.
Every summer at harvest time, it was my job to man the battery booster while Dad was in the cab. The battery is down by the rear tires. It would take quite a while for fuel to get up to the engine (located behind that round screen by the cab). After much cranking, the engine would eventually fire, bark, and scare the crap out of me (since I was under those twin straight pipes).

Vintage 289s and 302s don't seem to be worth much unless a high output version so I expect the same is true for the bow tie versions.
Could be a small journal / steel crank combo, very desirable combo.
