Asking for a friend (ok, neighbour).....is Goo Gone the best option for removing tree sap from a car? Neighbour got sap on black SUV at the cottage on the weekend so I lent a bottle of Goo Gone but after one application they said they can still see a thin layer of it that is stubborn to remove. I advised using it a second time and letting it soak in a little longer. (looks like they scratched the clear coat in the first application a little - or hopefully it's just the remaining sap that's showing light scratches).
Any other options to successfully remove stubborn tree sap?
Thanks!
