Just to let S550 convertible owners know who may be interested, I made an inquiry with http://www.watsonracing.com/ about a product that would allow me to participate in road course events that stipulate open top cars must have a cage/bar of some sort to do so.
My initial inquiry was regarding the cage they currently produce for the S550 coupe and if it could be modified to fit a convertible. John from Watson Racing responded back that their coupe cage would not fit a convertible but that they are currently working on an application that would indeed fit and that it would be ready to ship in the very near future.
So if you're like me and like to attend these events from time to time, this is great news.
