Police say they caught a driver going more than 200 kilometres an hour on a Toronto roadway.
An officer who was on patrol in the area of Victoria Park and McNicoll avenues spotted the driver overnight Monday at 2:17 a.m.
The 2015 Acura was allegedly speeding north on Victoria Park. The officer used a speed-measuring device and recorded the speed of the car at 203 km/hr. The speed limit on the avenue is 60 km/hr.
The 24-year-old male driver has been charged with stunt driving, speeding and racing a motor vehicle.
The stunt driving charge automatically means the driver had his car impounded for seven days and his licence suspended for seven days.

^I'd hate to think what his insurance will be like after that.

Most insurance companies would just cancel your policy for such a massive offense. I hope this entitled jack ass never sits in a car again

They say the 19-year-old was stopped on Feb. 4 in the Napanee, Ont., area for allegedly travelling 208 kilometres per hour in a posted 100 km/h zone on Highway 401.
OPP say the driver returned to Napanee this week to retrieve his vehicle after it was impounded for seven days.
They say the same vehicle was stopped on Wednesday, again in the Napanee area, for allegedly travelling at 167 km/h on Highway 401.

Seems like he dropped a cylinder.

^Really can't fix stupid.

Owner of my work paid over $900 a month for insurance when he was ~20 (back in the late 90's) due to speeding tickets. So someone will eventually insure this guy, he just might not be able to afford it.
