I came across this in the Bring A Trailer site. Tons of pics but here are just a few samples.

This 1988 Ford Mustang is a genuine DECH Motorsports-modified example powered by an Active Engines 5.0L V8 mated to a 5-speed manual Borg Warner T5 World Class gear box. Originally purchased by Derek Hanson of DECH at Donway Ford, the car was fitted with a DECH aero body kit and performance upgrades and serial numbered DECH #005. Modifications include a 3.55 rear end, Koni shocks, Wilwood front brakes, Recaro seats, Simmons 3 piece wheels, and more detailed in the listing. The seller acquired it four years ago, and has kept it in garage storage for the past three years. It is now being offered for sale with a spare DECH body kit, an unmounted DECH ASG (advanced suspension geometry), and a clean Ontario title in the seller’s name.

Under the hood, the 5.0L V8 was built by Active Engines and is mated to a 5-speed Borg Warner T5 World Class gearbox. It features BBK headers, a Flowmaster dual exhaust system, GT40 upper intake manifold, Taylor spark plug wires, and a Ford racing brake proportioning valve. A 3.55 rear end with Positraction was fitted with a Summit Racing rear differential cover. The car was last serviced prior to its garage storage 3 years ago and is said to need a new starter.

Saw that on BaT tonight and gave the Americans a bit of background story on the DECH cars. Almost a completely unknown entity down there. Many commented on how they like the body kit, and it is probably the nicest one for the Fox cars.

cheers

A DECH Mustang is one of those "you might be from Ontario if" things, glad to see them getting some love and attention south of the snow mexico border.

I used to love that fox Stang so much. That would be a nice piece of history to own.
