Wasn't sure where to put this, so started a new thread.
Interesting stat I ran across on another forum. Somebody put it together sourced from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration

Cool info! Big difference between F150 and Silverado.

Even my import is more domestic than a GMC, LOL.
And they want to charge the chicken tax on small import pickups?

The Colorado is only 86% built, and the Silverado is 109% built?

Also of note, GM is bringing some truck production back to Oshawa.

Honda Ridgeline has the most NA content, Chevy Silverado has the least, but if you bought a Ridgeline over a Silverado you'd be called an "import lover" and your truck would be "jap scrap".

Yeah, I noticed the accounting errors also. I suspect the "other" column is not entirely accurate and may fluctuate. Odd that the numbers in that column are nice round numbers like 15%, 20%, etc.

Would be nice if truck production were coming back to Canada, but I find it hard to believe. Make America great again!

What always surprises me is with the high amount of Mexican content, the auto companies do not pay enough for their workers to purchase these vehicles.
Saw recent numbers on a Ram recall, and Canada had like 50000 Rams recalled, Mexico had somewhere around 3000.
