was probably one of the craziest F1 races I've ever seen

Stroll's been getting a lot of heat so far this season.....the billionaire's kid who's daddy bought him the ride etc etc.....sorta seemed way outta his depth

first 6 races were complete shit.....and not all his doing

but he got points in Canada which seems to have given him confidence

out qualified his team mate this weekend....stayed outta trouble and drove a real good race

he was even voted "driver of the race"

first Canuck on the F1 podium since JV in 2001 I think

was nice to see

That was a bonkers race for sure. Great to Lance on the podium alongside the big grin of Riccardo.

Wow, that race was a shitshow!! Vettel should be docked some points for his BS during the first safety car. Telemetry shows what Lewis Hamilton didn't brake excessively he just coasted more than usual leave a gap behind the pace car. Vettel was just late to react, but then drove alongside and slammed Hamilton wheel to wheel. He got a 10 second stop and go, but should have gotten more.

Good for Stroll, looked like he may have 2nd but Bottas with some 11th hour driving took that back.

Vettel is a toolshed.

He reverted back to an older setup, which made him feel more comfortable in the car. The Merc was given all the max power for the the last 10 laps .The Williams is a much slower car than the big 3,so it would be close at the end no matter what. He did a great job.All the money in the world doesn't help you, if you don't use the gas and brake pedal, the right way.

This is so true, and too often forgotten when people are criticizing Lance because of his dad. I'm not saying the money has had no impact on his career, it has played a significant role from day one, but he has still needed to be a top athlete with elite driving skills to make it all work all the way to yesterday's podium.
