I think it was Neil Degasse Tyson that was talking on the Joe Rogan show about how dangerous it is for us to continue space travel because it is more and more difficult to calculate a route in and out without crashing into something that is floating around out there.

Holy Shit that is a lot of junk out there in space. Surprised it is all there floating around and none of it fell down to earth yet. I wonder how much of it is active.

At some point we are going to need to remove it and recycle some of it. My concern is the radioactive metals they used as the battery source for old satellites
