I need some advice on PCV system. Im running a vortech supercharged/intercooled 4.6l 2v. I have the PCV line coming from passenger side valve cover to a breather can then from the can to driver side valve cover. Thought i would check my PCV valve and found it was hollowed out. Should i replace the hollowed out PCV valve with a new functioning PCV valve for supercharged engine. Or is my set up ok. Thanks for advice,I searched but not finding the answer im looking for.

Biggest advantage to a conventional pcv on your set up, the check valve effect it has under boost. By "breather can" to you mean vented to the atmosphere (got a pic)? Unless your having an oil control / heavy breathing issue, no upside to running it and risking a ticket.

Yes vented to atmosphere.

Are you doing it because of problem with blow by / oil control or it's just vented because it is?
