You may not know him, but you know him.
Some real classic songs.

I only know him from the Beach Boys, as I don't really listen to Country...

Love the Beach Boys but didn't know that Glen Campbell took Brain Wilson's place for a short period in 64-65. RIP Glen Campbell!

^^^LOL, me either.
Glad I googled it before asking Dave something stupid like "which of the Beach Boys did you think he was?".

Didn't know that either, interesting. Definitely a talented person. I got to hear his stuff along with a bunch of other country artists in the 1970s ... for those of you old enough who grew up in the GTA, you might remember CFGM which was the country music AM station from ~1966 until the mid 1980s I think before "New Country" got popular. My father was the "Herb Tarlek" there for many years ... advertising sales manager.

I can recall in the 60's even CHUM playing his music, that was all my mom ever listened to. He was also a sessions musician with the Wrecking Crew for some time. Backed up many artists before he made it big. Still can't stand Rhinestone cowboy, but my favourite would probably be Wichita Line man
