You gotta love driving in Woodbridge. On my way to work this morning, southbound on Islington I see an ambulance then a fire truck then a police car going south as well. I cross Rutherford and another police car goes by (all had lights flashing). Traffic on Islington is now bumper to bumper and people are now making u-turns to go back north. I'm in the curb lane but still saw the flashing lights of another first responder coming down the centre turn lane. A couple of seconds later I heard the unmistakable sound of an impact. Unfortunately the driver of the Ford Edge didn't see the flashing lights and u-turned right into the side of the paramedic support SUV. I continue to the scene of the first crash and see first responders running up the street to the new crash. Ahh Mondays, and we haven't switched the clocks back yet.
