As the new year and a new Mustang season are fast approaching, what would you like to see in the way of events this coming season. We always appreciate input from the TMC. If you have an idea you can post it here or PM a Mod.

Thanks

What about a cruise and a tour of somebody's "cool" place they work if they can arrange it.
I remember the power plant tour of years past. Was a great day!

What ever happened to Glenn (NiagaraGlenn I think was his board name) anyway? He kind of vanished years ago after being a very active member.

Don't be shy TMC. If you have an idea for an event, or know of a good venue, or a good cruise route we want to hear from you. Some events are a given, go-karting, track days, Friday night meets, wing nights, but there is room for more. If you have an idea, we want to hear from you. New ideas are always welcome.

Stephen, what about a more local cruise in our backyard, north Caledon / Hockley Valley area? That would be something that we could stage from my driveway ...

cheers

Is that Boot Hill restoration place still there? they'd do a tour for us.

To the top. While you are enjoying some down time during the holidays please think about this post. If you don't want to post it on the board for whatever reason, feel free to send a PM to any of the TMC Crew.

Thanks and Merry Christmas

Allow for larger photo sizes to be uploaded. Every time I try (simple pic from iPhone)I get a message saying the file is too large. I have to then go and edit the photo to fit. Most of the time I don’t bother posting it because it’s too much of a pain. I would post more often if I didn’t have to edit every time that I wanted to post a pic.
Cheers and happy new year!

Nothing against TMC photo gallery. If you seek to upload higher quality pics, why not use a picture hosting site like postimages.org

On that note, how many people would consider making the drive out to Waterloo if we were to host an event here? If there is enough interest I can speak with our owners about it.

thanks,

Ed N.

I’m thinking of organizing another cruise.....this time going east to Picton for one of the arm drop events at the air strip.
I’ve been and it’s a cool event to watch or participate in for fun.

I can remember that not so many years ago the GTAMC had 22 events in one summer. We probably attended 2/3 of them.

Last year we had only a few. I would love to go to more. For me though doing 4-500 km in a day is more than
I would want. A 2 hour or so drive out and back is about all I'd want.

I miss the organized group going to Woodward.
We went (years ago) to an event in Ohio, 2 or 3 years running. (Remember the Pizza dance?).
We had dozens of show'n shines (one or 2 a year is enough for me).
A cruise to Niagara Falls, or perhaps a shopping day in Buffalo. (the wives or significant others would like that!)
I remember a pretty good party night for Winger's birthday at Wegs.
One year we had an autocross event (I think the Camaro club challenged us). I didn't win but I had a good time.

If you sit down and think about it there are lots of things to do!

The club should definitely help set up a show n shine at one or both of the Ford dealerships that sponsor the TMC.

Tony's cruise was good last year so more cruises would work well.

Since this club has more than one person who can actually help out at events let's set up a drag race event and we can call it TMC Grudge Warz.

I love the grudge wars idea Lou, just make it in the spring if the other events still going to continue?

Dealership show sounds fun, I went to one of the Facebook groups, a lot of stock s550s and awards given to friends but it would be a great way to introduce new people to the club as well as I'm sure many locals would show up.

Niagara cruise and similar are great, I can't see driving 8 hours for something like Algonquin but a half day or so is fun.
I actually saved the route from the Facebook one I attended that went to Niagara on the lake as it was such a nice route and we had Zero issues with cars getting separated (lol Lou)
If anyone has friends in motorcycle clubs they often have great cruise routes through the back roads, I went on a great one to port Dover that I'd love to re do.
