Anyone have info on the exhaust on this truck?

Says ford racing dont see anything on the Ford parts website that looks the same

Custom job maybe? But multipule trucks they have listed have the same exhaust.

Love the tips. Look much better than the generic round most kits use. And if it is a ford exhaust does that mean warranty okay? (This is the reason my wife dosnt want exhaust on the truck)

What are your warranty concerns with a cat back?

I dont have any.
The boss on the other hand is concerned cuz it’s a lease. I’m all for just keeping the old exasust and putting it back on once the lease is up.

American muscle showed a FFRP. exhaust system (made by Borla). But it has round tips. Not the tips that truck has.

Should retain stock warranty with no issues, the exhaust however will likely have no warranty, I know the Mopar exhaust systems don’t have any warranty, also made by Borla.

Probably would have helped to post the link to the truck in question. Lol

That is what I want it’s supposably a Borla built ford performance exhaust. But any web site I go to I can’t find a part number or listing for that exact kit. They all show the round tips that aren’t set as far out.

I've been looking and I can't find any part number either... Your best bet is to get in contact with Ed and see what he can find.

Those tips look pretty dam cool. Actually surprised it's taken the other mfg's so long to follow suit on factory installed duals like Ram.

Totally agree Rick.

All the kits tend to look like after thoughts.
But even when we looked at other trucks. You could get a TRD duel made by Borla kit on the tundra and rolled in with the purchase.
Ford said no can do.

Our Ford Racing Parts supplier tells us that the style of tips on their F-150 systems got updated recently to the trapezoidal style as shown in the photo from American Trucks ... FRP hasn't changed the photos on their site yet though.

Now to convince the wife.

What? We do that kinda stuff all the time at the FCA dealer, maybe your salesman was a bit lazy?

Ya seems strange. They sell supercharged Mustangs, all rolled into the payment. Hard to believe they wouldn’t do an exhaust on new F150.

That what I thought. Touno cover and bed liner no problem I said what about an aftermarket exhaust
Sales guy said no.
But maybe for the best cuz the new style ffrp looks way way better than just the standard round tips.

I'd be happy to go there and look it over for you. Take pics of the exhaust etc.

Exhaust showed up today. Just finished installing it. Sounds great from outside and no noticeable difference in sound from the inside. Both me and my wife are happy! Lol

Many thanks Ed. Your the man!

Probably should have washed the truck but it would just get dirty again.

Can’t make the video work though.

Glad that we could get you fixed up quickly.

Got home from work last night packed the boys up and took them out to my dads shop.
They made a mess while I installed it. Lol

Was easier than I thought it would be. Only took a couple hours.

Quality kit.

Did well with aligning them nice

Spent the most time on that. Lol. I hate crooked exhaust tips. Drive my wife crazy pointing them out while driving.

One is about a 16th low. Will adjust it in a couple weeks when I install the air bags.

Hoping that install goes as smooth but we shall see. Leaving myself a whole weekend to get that one done.
